The Great Power : Decision Making

Alice came to the crossroads. "Which way should I choose?“ she asked. "Where do you want to go?" said the Cheshire cat. "I don't know" Alice said. "Then what does it matter?" the cat said.

Lewis Carroll - Alice in Wonderland

How did we get to our current situation? How did we get the way we are today? Perhaps by our great gene codes, perhaps by the pressure of our natural tendencies, perhaps guided by our peers, influenced by our environment, or by psychological factors. However, none of these forces formed us, they gave only color and texture to our lives. The power of our mortar decisions that we use to shape our lives, and each brick that makes up the monument we built, is our countless choices.

The purpose of this article is to remind us once again of the tremendous power we have. And there are only two things we need to do to unleash that great power. First of all, we need to understand that our destiny is not shaped by the conditions we face, but that we do it with our decisions. Secondly, we should act by making choices that will improve our lives with this understanding. Simple, isn't it? If we want to change our lives, all we have to do is change our minds! If we want to improve our lives, all we have to do is improve our choices.

Throughout our lives, we can often find a way to stop at the end of a road and wonder where we are going. In fact, what a great thing to have more than one option! But what's so funny is that it's hard to have options, especially if you're on the eve of a vital downfall. In addition, this decision and to evaluate the options to try to stay positive.

Life follows a funny way to avoid black and white. There's always a gray somewhere, and it's up to us to use our understanding skills, knowledge and support systems to find the best one. All these scattering, noise and shadows are behind the answers. The only answer is our need. I wish it was easy to reach this answer! For most of us, these answers are deeply buried. Sometimes it is clear that the pros and cons are evaluated and lost when looking for perfection. What's really frustrating is that we know the answer, that we'll eventually be able to reach it, but we don't know when.

Making great decisions in life is part of being an adult, and a situation that will happen again and again. The question then is: How do we manage ourselves when we have to choose between what we always know and what we haven't experienced yet? Those who know me know. In the last few months, I've learned a lot about these things and I want to share what I've learned:

A Few Tips to Get Intelligent Decision

Listen to your intuition. When I face the first option, there is always an instinct in me. As I stand at an intersection, I've instinctively pre-selected the choice that will make the results without adding pros and cons and without asking my friends and family for their opinions. . When you're faced with two options, you know what instinct is about when you're on a coin, when the money goes down, you already know what you want. Do not ignore that instinct.

Weigh the pros and cons. I truly believe that it is necessary to listen to the first instinct, but I also recognize the importance of weighing the pros and cons. Give yourself some time and thoroughly analyze the pros and cons of each situation. In both cases, there will be both good and bad. Try to realize what's best for you and the least bad.

Get the opinion of others. I value listening to myself and making my own decisions, but I cannot deny the value of others' opinion. You may want to include others when you make vital decisions. In my case, this is totally up to me, but that doesn't mean that I don't respect others' ideas. I would love to know what others will say and get various opinions. This wisdom will help me make the best possible decision.

Don't let the fear decide. Big changes can be intimidating. Making choices can be intimidating. The decision-making process is an important thing that works into fear. Fear leads us to think that keeping everything the same is better and not worth the risk of change. I have to push this fear aside and learn to make decisions based on what is best for me, not avoiding what I fear.

Do what's best for you. It can sometimes be difficult to weigh all the options and determine the truth when you're getting a variety of suggestions, but ultimately you have to focus on yourself. Turn off all other sounds and ask yourself "What's the right choice for me?". Once you determine what is best for you, ask another question: "Are you going to do the best for yourself?".

Trust yourself. This is similar to the first point, but not exactly the same. After you have done everything above and reached a decision, you can find yourself taking a step back and questioning your decision. Even if you have tried so hard to come to this point, your mind may be full of doubt. Don't let these doubts beat you. Remind yourself that it's the best for you, and don't forget what big steps you've taken to get to that conclusion. Believe in your choice and remind yourself that everything you do is as it should be.

Don't look back. Once you've decided, you decide to be stable and refuse to look back. From time to time, the choice may not seem right, but everything has a reason and you're supposed to make these choices. Everything will be as it should be, and know that you've done your best to make a decisions.

Whatever you face, big decisions are never easy. Deciding is actually one of the most difficult but also the most amazing things about life. There are people in this world who have no choice but to change things. To choose most of the time is quite spooky, but lately I noticed that it is a great privilege. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to choose and I will do my best to make the most wise choices.

You have a clue to add to this list? How do you take your vital decisions?
